The Mid-City Modern Board
This cutting board pictured was a commission piece we did for a friend who fell in love with our retro line of coasters and asked us to create a cutting board to match. Though each piece we make is unique to itself, we can recreate this pattern similarly. While it won’t be a total duplication, the design and feeling of the cutting board will be in this style.
The relationship between that intense green Poplar and the shadows of the checkered pieces give this board a mid-century modern feel. Makes us want to put on a motown record and drink a dirty martini. But that’s just us.
